As a family we have been visiting the Kerala Kitchen for over 10 years pretty much on a weekly basis! The Restaurant epitomises a true family run business and Rocky, Jisha, Robin and all the staff will give you a warm and friendly welcome and guide you through the menus. The food is freshly cooked to order and truly authentic to the Kerala region. There is a wide variety of dishes and side orders to choose from, plenty of Vegan options and you can ask to alter dishes to your particular liking. We have tried a wide variety of dishes and the quality and flavours are a;ways excellent. The atmosphere is always relaxed and the staff are very attentive. Kemal Kitchen is a local independent family business and it shows in terms of how much they care about the customer experience and the quality of the food they cook. The Kerala Kitchen has been our favourite restaurant for years now. It far surpasses any other Indian restaurants we have tried. Keralan cuisine is varied and delicious.The Kerala Kitchen’s menu is extensive and suits all palates. They use quality fresh ingredients and everything is cooked to order. Spices are freshly grated. Prices are reasonable. The restaurant is family run. The staff are attentive and delightful. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Kerala Kitchen is our favourite place to eat. The food is always freshly prepared and cooked to order. So if you want to dial up (or down) the spice all you have to do is ask! Nothing is ever too much for staff. Front of house staff are knowledgeable and super friendly, they always welcome you with a smile and are happy to recommend dishes if you fancy a change from your normal 'go to order'. We have recently tried the new Village Collection menu and it is amazing. You should really try this authentic southern Indian cooked to perfection and served just like it is in Kerala! Kerala Kitchen staff are like family! We love them.

I have been visiting the Kerala Kitchen for many years from when it first opened at its previous venue. Kerala Kitchen was my introduction to the food of the Kerala region of India and I have never looked back since. My initial reason for visiting was that they had so many vegan meals on offer and so this made arranging meet-ups with friends very easy as there were dishes to everyone’s taste. The food of the Kerala is consistently exceptional. Flavours, textures and colours come together to form a feast for the mind and palate. Not only does the Kerala have an ever-evolving broad menu, but Rocky and the staff will prepare almost any Kerala cuisine for you if you ask. In all my time dining at The Kerala Kitchen, I have tried very many different dishes and never been disappointed. In addition to the wonderful food, you will always be made to feel most welcome by Jisha who manages the restaurant, or Robin who is the floor manager. If you are new to Kerala cuisine, don’t be intimidated, they are both more than willing to guide you through what’s on offer, and importantly, the significance of each dish in Indian culture. Give yourself the chance to become one of the growing numbers of Kerala converts and book in without delay – you won’t be disappointed.
